Afternoon flights tend to be cloudier and windier than the early morning, so if you can, try to book a morning flight. These book up far in advance during the peak tourist season (late December through April). You should seriously consider booking your helicopter flight before you come out.
Airsickness: If you're concerned about air-sickness, you might want to take an over the counter product before you fly, and avoid a heavy breakfast. Also, don't overdo it on the citrus foods and juices.
Photo Tips: A number of helicopter providers offer videos of your trip. These are great, but if you want to take your own pictures, remember you'll be photographing through glass. Shoot at an angle to the glass, and wear dark-colored clothing. Light- colored clothing reflects in the windows and can show up in the image. If you feel at all queasy, give the camera to comeone else! Looking through a camera lens for any length of time can wreak havoc on your equilibrium.
